The SUPER 16 Race

A race of 16 games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The total race time will be 3-4 hours for the top finishers (but most people should plan for longer). All you need to do is join the race via racetime.gg on the day of the race. You can watch the race on twitch.tv/SpeedGaming.
This is the 10th race in the series of Super 16 races. Join us as we celebrate Feasel's work with a Best of featuring games from super16 #1 to #8

Games, goals, and rules will be posted right here on this page after the reveal show.
Games must be completed in the order shown. All goals start from a new game and end when you've played up to and including the stage or boss specified in the goal.
Exceptions: Super Bomberman 2 and Mega Man X starts with a code. Super Metroid you starts at your ship on Planet Zebes.
You may use emulator, flashcart, or cartridges. You may use U or J unless there is a massive difference between the two. You should use the default difficulty level unless the goal specifies a different difficulty. Most glitches will be allowed, any questions about glitches, please reach out. No codes are allowed unless mentioned in the per-game rules below. Use of turbo buttons and save states is banned.
At the end of each goal you must wait 45 seconds before starting your run in the next game. This 45 seconds is used for swapping cartridges/ROMs and configuring your controls and settings for the next game.
After the 8th game you must take a 120 second break instead of the usual 45 seconds (not in addition to).
